"Watercolors" helps clean up the Spokane River

Spokane Riverkeeper, a local advocating for and purging waste and harmful chemicals from the Spokane River, promotes Terry Tamminen's book Watercolors: How JJ The Wale Saved Us. With each book purchase, $5 will support Spokane Riverkeeper.

Tamminen is a former Santa Monica Baykeeper and lifelong water advocate. Watercolors is a call to action for humans to interrupt our everyday "flow," consider the ocean because decisions impact the environment and oceanic life. Tamminen's tale is based on a true story involving a rescued baby whale, caring individuals, and the struggle to provide shelter, food, and to exercise compassion for an animal. Sometimes a rescue mission reveals the knowledge that could save us all.

What a whale of a tale, and great gift. Watercolors can be purchased at www.watercolorsthebook.com. The e-book is $9.99 and the printed book is $19.99. Please choose Spokane Riverkeeper from the drop down menu to ensure the $5 gets donated. You will be directed to Amazon.com to purchase the book.

Happy reading!
