Jonathan Evison, a local Western Washington author, will be reading from his newest book West of Here at Auntie's Bookstore. He's well known for his first novel All About Lulu, which won critical acclaim, including the Washington Stat Book Award.
Editor Chuck Adams (Water for Elephants) has called West of Here the best novel he's worked on in over four decades of publishing.
West of Here is not only a New York Times bestseller, but also the winner of the 2012 PNBA Award, Hudson Booksellers Best Book of 2011, Amazon Top 100 of 2011, Bookpage Top 50 of 2011, and Booklist Editor's Choice Award.
Evison was the founding member and frontman for the Seattle punk bank March of Crimes, which included members that later formed Pearl Jam and Soundgarden.
