Seattle International Film Festival


Pacific Northwest film lovers have something to get excited about this week, as the 38th Seattle International Film Festival kicks off Thursday in Seattle, WA. As the nation’s largest and most well attended film festival, the SIFF will present 273 features and open with the film Your Sister’s Sister, starring Emily Blunt and directed by Seattle native, Lynn Shelton. 

The festival will feature a wide array of films for all ages. Titles in include Robot and Frank, Fat Kid Rules the World, and Lola Versus. In addition, Pixar will have a special presentation of the new animated feature, Brave

If you are not able to make it this week, don’t worry. The SIFF is the longest running festival in the country and will be presenting through June10th. In addition, the festival offers the brand-new app, SIFFter, to help movie-goers make their selections.
